This picture was taken from our balcony ... a gorgeous view of Waikiki beach.

Our balcony was located directly over the swimming pool ... fairly crowded and not yet 8:30am!!

We didn't use the pool ourselves, what with the beach being literally across the street!!

Seems everyone in Hawaii wants to take your picture, and then of course, sell it back to you.

This one was taken on our first morning in Hawaii at a free orientation breakfast
... and it was the last pic that we posed for.

The "free" breakfast was awful, and the follow-up "free" tour was mostly just taking us to
various stores trying to sell us stuff. So, we ditched the tour and visited Chinatown. :-)

Chinatown was much smaller than we imagined. We wandered around a few shops,
got a bite to eat, and got kicked out of a bingo (gambling machines) parlor.

We then caught TheBus back to our hotel.

I took lots of pictures off our balcony ... this shot was taken mid-afternoon after our tour around the city.

A little while later, we wandered downstairs by Tiki's Bar & Grill.

Got some nice views of the sunset. Time is about 5:30pm.

Next, we went for a long walk down the beach...

We walked a couple miles down the beach, then peeked in on a
free hula show from a hotel that backed up to the beach area.

After the show, we cut back out to the main road
via a hotel that had a bunch of turtles in their pickup area.

Next, we had an awesome dinner at the Hula Grill.

Gorgeous view and really amazing food. Highly recommended!!
