In Hawaii, every day is Hump Day... :-)

The Oahu's North Shore is known as a surfer's paradise with "monster waves"...

We did go in, just enough to get our feet (and most of our legs) wet!!

The waves really were quite large, and this wasn't even on the best of days.
We did also mind the warning signs, though...

Stormy Weather...

It rained on us a little, but as they say in Hawaii, "Just wait 20 minutes".
It did clear up fairly quickly...

Seemed like a good place to take some pictures...

A message from the locals ... good advice, too. :-)

Sorry I didn't get more leaves in the shot. This was an average looking palm tree
but with different sorts of flowers / fruits hanging off of it
(compared to the California varieties...)
